Injury on fingers and nail?

hey guys...i just had an accident some 3 weeks back where my right hand's thumb, index and middle finger got damaged...while my index and middle finger got deep lacerations, i lost 3/4th of my thumb nail.....what worries me is that there are 2 stitches on my thumb nailbed which seem to be made of some cotton thread or something...will they be removed later or will the nail grow on top of it?? and i am having numbness at the left side of my middle finger...is this permanent or will i get it back??and what is the fastest way to heal my skin on my index and middle finger?? is there any tablets or creams that can help??i am really very worried about my fingers and the sight of them scares my a bit....please help!!
